There is no information that could lead to the removal of the management.

A. Dulkys says that at present the ministry has no information on which it is necessary to remove the head of the Republican Hospital of Šiauliai Remigijus Mažeikas or request it from the police.

“In order to make decisions, if they are the heads of a medical institution, other employees are at fault, so they can be subjected to specific investigations or law enforcement. At this stage, we still do not have them, official information that would be sufficient [direktoriaus] we don’t have it, ”said the minister.

He recalled that the head of the facility had already been charged in another investigation: “The head of the facility has been accused of public procurement, but no action has been taken there either.”

So far, he says he has mostly been in contact with hospital management about vaccination issues, so he has no complaints.
