The global registration system is available on the koronastop.lt website. Among other things, someone else can register for the vaccination.

“As before, you can choose the vaccine, the date, the time and the municipality where it is convenient for you to get vaccinated. Regardless of the registry or place of residence, the clinic you visit or other circumstances, ”says Health Minister Arūnas Dulkys in a video distributed by the Ministry on Monday.

People over the age of 45 will be universally vaccinated in the country this week. In some municipalities, people in this age group have been vaccinated before.

To register for COVID-19, a resident will need to confirm their identity through the Electronic Government Portal.

According to BNS health spokesperson Aistė Šuksta, all 60 municipalities have joined the system, several of which have not yet created vaccination routes, but there are no technical barriers to doing so.

If you have further questions about the registration, the ministry recommends viewing the videos on the koronastop.lt website. He also points out that, in the absence of electronic registration, it is possible to do so by telephone in 1808.

According to A. Šuksta, if the universal registration system begins to bog down, an alternative to registration is offered through the pre-patient registration system.

“The system is not new, only an additional module has been installed. If the system fails for a short period of time, the supplier is ready to fix the problem. If it is not possible to restore the operation of the system, there is an alternative”, said the representative of the Minister.

The global registry system service is provided by the company “International Academy of Emergency Medicine”, the price of the additional module is 450 thousand. euros.

The electronic registration system for vaccination implemented by this company has already been registered by the big cities: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda. The company has also established a registration system for coronavirus tests.

On May 10, the Health Ministry announced that it would begin vaccinating the general public in stages, with the weekly coronavirus vaccination opening up to a new age group. As of May 24, it is planned to allow the vaccination of people aged 35 and over throughout the country.

Mass vaccination, when everyone can get the vaccine, will begin on May 31. Residents will be vaccinated from the age of 16.
