It has been a shame to save in this way for a long time. On the contrary, even truly famous Lithuanians and foreigners speak out loud about the fact that collecting new things saves a lot and at the same time, albeit in a small step, contributes to the sustainability of our planet, thus setting an example for others. . Also, isn’t it fun to discover real pearls in this way, both of them stand out from the massive gray supply with their originality and much cheaper?
The Mother’s Week Fair for the second week is the biggest event, attracting many families who not only want to get rid of their second-hand items in one go, but also, of course, those who hope to find everything they need. need in one place. at much lower prices, kids from head to toe and more. The fair also has a great selection of books and toys.
Like every year, I also visited this fair. This time, I decided to share my personal ideas and, of course, the captures.
And by the way, two of my tips for newbies (if there are any among readers): 1. As in other similar places like this, the principle applies here: the sooner, the smarter; 2. If you don’t want to spend more than you plan, make a list in advance of what you really need; this way you will be less distracted and avoid unnecessary goods that you will probably buy here to capture a good emotion.
Wardrobe from head to toe – only for 10 Eur
Yes, you can really dress your kid from head to toe for a long time. Maybe not necessarily the most famous clothing brands, but really in excellent condition to wear and to wear. Well, the taste is indisputable.

Products with names and for the little ones
Among the many children’s items, real pearls can be found at the fair. Of course, you will have to put in the necessary effort, especially since some hangers are so full of merchandise that it is difficult to properly inspect the desired item, but if you are interested in items from famous brands, that problem will probably do it. pay off.
At the fair in the warm season, I saw several pairs of children’s Melissa, Birkenstock sandals and Toms, Converse and Lacoste sneakers. Some have been seen walking more than ten kilometers, others as if they were new. Prices vary a lot. Some sellers, apparently after appreciating the name of the sounds, also asked for a lot of scrambled products, while others probably didn’t appreciate it at all and offered symbolic prices.
There were also a shortage of well-known brands in the clothing departments. From Lithuanian creators Nikolia, loved by Unlabel and world famous names like Ralph Lauren, who love their daughters to decorate their daughters with original dresses, to the perhaps less prestigious Helly Hansen, who has earned a name for exceptional quality., Didriksons, etc. . The products of these brands, although not new, but still in excellent condition, can be purchased at the fair much cheaper than through higher sales in regular stores.
The products are the same, the price varies twice
When they sell clothes, shoes and other items for their children, the sellers put a price on these products. Therefore, it is probably not surprising that the price of an object next to each other, even if it is the same, can vary twice as much. And the moms who managed to choose the cheapest option will probably feel like they have won.
Here are some examples they didn’t miss. Jeans “Zara” with suspenders – some cost 5 Eur, others – 10 Eur; denim jackets, as well as “Zara” – 6 Eur and 15 Eur, respectively; thin jackets – 4 Eur and 9 Eur; Adidas shoes – 1.5 Eur and 10 Eur.
Differences in the same or similar prices were also easy to spot in the books and toys sections. Lying next to each other and much loved by the little reader, the book, which has lost its commercial appearance, is valued by merchants at 10 euros, and another – a new novelty – for 3 euros and with a charity badge, it which means that if no one is interested in the product, it will be donated after the fairs for the next charity event. So the sooner the smarter!
