The manager’s call saved the woman’s life: incoherent language betrayed a serious health disorder

An unexpected story happened a week ago in Ukmergė. When the manager of a company called the client, he felt that the woman was trapped in the language, she began to speak incoherently, and after a few more moments she was silent, there was a whisper and the conversation ended. The manager tried to call back, but no one answered his call. Therefore, concerned about the client’s health, she called the emergency number 112. Fortunately, the manager knew the client’s personal details: name, year of birth, address, and phone number.

The operator of the Vilnius branch of the General Assistance Center, who answered the emergency call, quickly gathered all the necessary information. After trying to call the specified phone number and making sure that no one answered, and that no one was able to open the apartment door at the specified address, the officer sent a notice of need to the three main services: police, ambulance, and fire.

Police and firefighters rushed to the apartment building after 10 minutes. Although not immediately, the hostess opened the apartment, her face was bloody. The 60-year-old woman was rocking, having difficulty teaching, she couldn’t remember what had happened to her. After checking sobriety, the police found the sober woman, so the ambulance brigade immediately took her to the hospital.

The emergency services called in this way helped a Umergian who had a serious health problem. I don’t know how the story would have ended if the woman hadn’t been called that morning by such an attentive and indifferent manager.
