Today, Kaunas celebrates the Day of Happiness, so there were several events throughout the city. One of the most striking residents of Kaunas took place near the Akropolis shopping center
The Nuepiko dance company, together with the acrobats of the contemporary circus, chose a pedestrian crossing on Karaliaus Mindaugas avenue and the intersection of A. Mickevičiaus street for their performance.
“We have devised new entertainment for drivers: if they can watch movies without getting out of the car, we have offered them our program on the same terms. At the same time, we found the opportunity to perform under quarantine conditions ”, said one of the authors of this idea.
Drivers who stopped at a red light in a crosswalk suddenly escaped from a group of breakheads, not only dancing but also performing acrobatic maneuvers, the reaction was mixed, but most smiled and some even applauded and expressed solidarity with beeps. Among the spectators of this show was the crew of an official police car. His officer also showed a raised thumb.
We remind you that today Kaunas has become a scene of performances creatively adapted to quarantine and even intermittent conditions – for the fourth time the International Day of Happiness has been celebrated, which the world has celebrated since 2013 at the initiative of the United Nations.
