Message from a cynical surgeon to those who will be vaccinated against the coronavirus: If you experience these symptoms after the vaccine, contact your doctor immediately.

Following this decision, the abdominal surgery doctor Edgaras Kulikauskas, advisor to the Minister of Health Arūnas Dulkis, known on social media under the pseudonym “Cynic Surgeon”, wrote more about blood clotting on the social network Facebook and provided advice to patients going for vaccinations. They also listed the symptoms that should be taken to a doctor immediately after vaccination.

“Message for those who return home to get vaccinated:

1. The benefits of the vaccine far outweigh the potential risks, including the fact that bleeding disorders are significantly more common in COVID-19.
2. The vaccine is not associated with thromboembolic complications.
3. Several very rare bleeding disorders have been reported, most commonly in women under 55 years of age.
4. And most importantly, what should all the portals and headlines shout if after the vaccine?

• feel short of breath;
• pain in the chest or stomach area;
• you experience swelling in your hand or it feels colder;
• bothered by a severe headache or seeing through fog;
• it is bleeding without stopping;
• if you notice multiple small bleeds, broken capillaries or bruises under the skin,
