The incident could have happened

Dovydas Buslavičius, Head of Vilnius College’s Public Relations Department, confirmed to BNS that the incident may have occurred.

“I can confirm that we have informed the students about the possible theft of data, we have sent them a letter (…) We are currently working on these matters, and with lawyers (…). He added that the data was not leaked from the university’s databases but from the service provider and an investigation is underway. He made no comment on whether to contact the police, but promised to provide more information in a separate report as soon as it became available.
