Wizz Air announces that it will start flying in a new direction from Vilnius to Santorini. Tickets for this flight can be purchased now on the company’s website or using the Wizz Air mobile app.

The first flight to the Greek island for vacationers is scheduled for June 12. The price of the ticket starts from 39.99 Eur.

“We are happy that, complying with the highest hygiene requirements, we can now offer a new flight direction for vacationers and tourists. Although travel is currently limited, we hope that the situation in Europe stabilizes for the summer and that travelers can plan their next summer holidays with their families. Santorini is a wonderful place for a relaxing family vacation, attractive with the essential attributes of good rest: the sun and the sea, ”says Andras Rado, director of corporate communications for Wizz Air.

Santorini, which belongs to Greece, is the largest volcanic island in the Cyclades, and its coasts are washed by the Aegean Sea. The island welcomes tourists not only in white shuttered houses with blue roofs, but also offers many recreational and entertainment opportunities for couples and families. Stunning views and well-groomed beaches await tourists here.

To ensure the best experience for its customers, Wizz Air takes into account the continuing uncertainty in the travel market and offers additional security measures for travelers. The company advises purchasing tickets directly on the wizzair.com website or via the mobile app. If the trip is canceled, Wizz Air applies an automated refund process that allows a quick and hassle-free refund of the amount spent on the ticket in the manner chosen by the passenger. If the flight is purchased through intermediaries, the process takes longer: Wizz Air cannot guarantee, influence or control the actions of online travel sales platforms.

Passengers can also purchase an additional WIZZ Flex service when choosing tickets. It allows you to cancel your flight free of charge at least 3 hours before departure and immediately recover the full amount paid in airline credits. Purchasers of the service also have the option to change flight dates and directions as many times as they wish.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Wizz Air has applied additional hygiene measures to ensure the health and safety of passengers and crew.
