Until now, only small merchants could operate.

The government will consider these proposals on Wednesday afternoon.

A government expert council also proposed further merchant releases this week.

Vaidotas Grigas, a member of the Independent Expert Advisory Council and director of the Molėtai Hospital, told reporters that the council had submitted proposals to the government for stores of more than 300 m2. m of area and having an independent entrance from the field, opening.

The Council of Government Experts also suggests that trader testing be periodic and mandatory, and how it has been discussed with trade representatives to ensure this.

“According to the Council of Experts, the tests are necessary to control the flows and prevent the spread of the infection in a timely manner,” said Grigas.
