He stressed that the Ingrida Šimonytė government began its work on December 11, two weeks before the delivery of the first vaccines to Lithuania, and that, according to him, extensive information campaigns should be prepared well in advance.

“We had very few days. Since we know that with the help of public procurement legislation, ordering a creative idea on its own would have taken us at least two months (such procedures exist unfortunately), we turned to these creative people for help and they did what they could. We are very grateful to them, ”he said.

“They did all this for free, they don’t really have plans for the future, they don’t have additional contracts with them in the future,” he emphasized.

“But I want to rejoice that most of the media, companies, during this period, while organizing public purchases, have agreed to distribute these ads for free and contribute to the vaccination campaign,” said the minister.
