Starting next week, movement between different municipalities in Lithuania should be allowed again. However, in those black municipalities where the highest incidence of coronavirus is registered, restrictions on mobility will remain until the situation improves, currently these municipalities are dwarfed, including the districts of Marijampol and Panevis.

The government’s emergency commission (WESC) considered on Monday a possible release of the movement among municipalities.
Agn Bilotait, Minister of the Interior and president of the SESC, recalled after the meeting that restrictions on movement between municipalities will expire on March 16.
Our suggestion was that, even though the movement should be vacated between municipalities, but in the case of the so-called black municipalities or with a higher number of cases, there should be a restriction to movement within and between municipalities, informed the Minister.
According to A. Bilotaits, these municipalities have a disease rate of more than 500 cases per thousand inhabitants. However, the minister did not name him.
