Detainees and convicts at the Kaunas Detention Center received surprises from officers on the occasion of Women’s Day. Specialists from the Department of Security Management came up with the idea of performing various beauty treatments for women imprisoned here. Before March 8, officials organized a campaign called “Island of Beauty.”
Officers performed manicures, hair, facial massages, makeup procedures, and renewed hairstyles on the detainees throughout the afternoon. The women were invited to a coffee as in a real beauty salon.
