House officials said the Duke of Edinburgh had “successful treatment for a major heart condition” at St Bartholomew Hospital on Wednesday.

“His Royal Highness will remain in the hospital for a few days for treatment, rest and recovery,” the report said.

Prince Philip has been treated in hospitals for more than two weeks and this is his longest hospital stay. Due to her respectable age, this raised concerns for her health.

June 10 will mark the centenary of Prince Philip.

On February 16, the prince was admitted to King Edward VII’s private hospital in central London. He could do it himself, without anyone’s help.

Buckingham Palace originally announced that he should be treated there for “a few days.”

The court later reported that he was being treated for the infection, but did not provide details.

On Monday, Prince Felipe was transferred to the San Bartolomé State Hospital, near San Pablo Cathedral, so that doctors could test and monitor him “for a major heart condition.”

Founded in the 12th century, this hospital is famous for its cardiology department.

In 2011, Philip had a stent inserted into a blocked coronary artery.

His marti, the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, said on Wednesday that Philip’s condition was “improving a bit” but “sometimes it hurts.” “We hold our fists,” he added.

Camilla’s husband, Felipe’s eldest son, and Prince Charles, heir to the throne, visited him in hospital last month.

Philip’s youngest son, Prince Edward, said last week that his father, a former Royal Navy officer, was already “much better” and was looking forward to returning home.

Prince Wililam, Philip’s grandson, said last week that the duke is fine and that doctors are monitoring him closely.

Queen Elizabeth II, 94, continues with her royal duties despite her husband’s illness.

The couple have been married for more than 73 years.

Philip fell ill at a time when the royal family was harshly criticized by Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle.

In an excerpt from an interview with Oprah Winfrey, which will be shown on Sunday, Meghan accuses Buckingham Palace of “letting the lie live” about her and her husband.

Earlier, Buckingham Palace announced that it was investigating a report in The Times that alleged Meghan was shy around palace employees.
