Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl, who was touched by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a private wedding, is preparing to become a member of the Rosneft board of directors.
According to Interfax, their candidate was announced in a decree of the Russian government. The agency notes that Rosneft’s board of directors already includes former German Chancellor Gerhar Schroeder, who is also chairman of Nord Stream 2’s shareholders committee.
Former Austrian Foreign Minister K.Kneissl became famous in 2018 when Putin appeared at his wedding banquet. It was later pointed out in Austria that this had already happened, as Putin was visiting Austria and spontaneously had the idea of inviting him to a private wedding party.
Later, the world was surrounded by images that show how, while the guests applauded, the Russian president okdina, the girlfriend of the Austrian chancellor K. Kneissl.

Many Austrian politicians attended the wedding, including Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, who is also a member of Nord Stream 2, who said it was a project of pan-European importance.
