On Saturday morning, Moscow said goodbye to the famous actor.

Today, loved ones, colleagues and fans see him on his last trip. His acquaintances said goodbye to him for being a man.

“It just came to our knowledge then. Wonderful artist, intelligent and closed person,” said a close friend Lia Achedzhakova.

“It was not a friend of mine with whom I needed a lot of friendship. But he was an amazing partner for me. He was an incredible artist who controlled everything, capable of performing both drama and tragedy and, of course, comedy. The man that God kissed on the crown ”, said Svetlana Nemolyajeva.

We remind you that we wrote about a man a little earlier.

The 1976 romantic comedy, starring A. Miagkov, became a classic in Soviet cinema and is still seen in Russia and many countries of the former Soviet bloc on New Year’s Eve.

Representatives of the Moscow Academy of Fine Arts (MChAT) told reporters that the life of a “great actor loved by the people” who had worked in the theater for decades had died early Thursday morning.

According to preliminary data, the cause of death of the Russian folk artist was acute heart failure, according to Lenta.ru.

It is noted that A. Miagkov lost consciousness while at home. He was discovered by his wife, as well as actress Anastasia Voznesenskaya, who called an ambulance. The man is reported to have died before the arrival of the doctors.

A. Miagkov was born in 1938 in what was then Leningrad, now in Saint Petersburg. As a child, during World War II, he survived the blockade of this city.

Early in his acting career, he joined the Moscow Sovremennik Theater company, which was founded by young independent actors after the death of Joseph Stalin.

In 1977, Miagkov moved to MChAT, the best-known drama theater in the country, where he performed for many years, and later became a teacher and director of this theater studio.

Although the increased popularity of Miagkov was due to his roles in the cinema.

He has starred in a number of films by famous director Eldar Ryazanov, including “The Irony of Fate,” where he played the role of a Moscow-based surgeon who unexpectedly found himself in Leningrad after a bath with friends, but still believes he is still in Moscow.

The film, which gently pokes fun at Soviet-era residential planning, suggesting they all look the same, has become a cult film still watched by millions of people during the New Year in Russia.

Miagkov, along with a bevy of other stars, starred in the 1977 film The Novel, where he played a statistician who decided to pursue a career in memory of his boss, who played another then-movie star, Alisa Freindlich.

During decades of acting career, Miagkov has created more than 50 roles on stage and in cinema.

According to MChAT, in recent years A. Miagkov and his wife, actress Anastasia Voznesenskaya, no longer performed in the theater and “lived apart, dedicated to each other.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Pescvo told reporters on Thursday that the president had expressed “more condolences” for the actor’s death.
