“I consider the start of the World Cup satisfactory. The main objectives were to get into the chase or to improve the place of the individual match overall during all the championships. I didn’t either, so there was little joy. I cannot single out one of the most successful starts, because they were all very different in terms of both conditions and well-being, ”commented G. Leščinskaitė on the performance at the World Championship.

This season, in personal competitions, the Lithuanians shoot an impressive 91.25 percent. precision. Progress is also reflected in positions: seven of the top ten career results have been achieved in recent years.

“This fact is something particularly gratifying, because with two fines it would be possible to take a much higher place, for which I am especially disappointed today. Of course I am happy with the good shot in this match, but I am still going a long and difficult road towards self-confidence, ”said G. Leščinskaitė.

Another Lithuanian biathlete Natalija Kočergina ranked 69th in the 15km personal run. Mūsiškė made a mistake four times (1 + 3 + 0 + 0).

The 20 km men’s personal race, in which three Lithuanians will participate, will take place on Wednesday at 3.30 pm.
