But after many years of filming for 45 years, K. Winslet reluctantly remembers the times in that movie.

Kate, who recently participated in actor and comedian Marco Marono’s WTF website, told me that her role on the Titanic and the sudden glory that fell on her shoulders affected her psychological state. The star admitted that she was unprepared for such constant media attention and public criticism.

“When the Titanic appeared on the screens, I switched to strict self-defense mode, it happened day after day. It seemed like I was constantly under a magnifying glass. I was heavily criticized and was not at all happy with the British press,” recalls Winslet.

She admitted that she was feeling so pressured in a corner at the time that she was even determined to give up world fame for her peace of mind. To draw less attention, the actress did not even consider proposals to film major projects, but instead focused on niche cinema.

“Frankly, I was overwhelmed. I remember thinking, “Everything is horrible. I hope it happens one day.” Over time things have really stalled, but this experience has made me realize that if fame and popularity seem to be the case, I’m certainly not ready for it. At the time, I was learning to play and I felt like I didn’t want big Hollywood projects. I didn’t want to make mistakes and get confused. I wanted to stay in this game for a long time. I focused on the details to better understand my craft and retained some privacy and self-esteem. I was just trying to live my life, ”said the actress.

At the beginning of her interview, Kate repeatedly spoke about the bullying she had suffered since school due to her weight. Self-confidence only increased when the actress starred in the legendary Titanic, when her appearance began to be discussed in the tabloids.

By the way, during another recent interview with journalists, Kate Winslet discussed her experience in film. He later admitted that he regretted working with film directors Woody Allen and Roman Polanski, who are now involved in famous sex scandals.
