Starting Tuesday, these employees of the capital’s education sector will be vaccinated at the Antakalnis, Center, Karoliniškės and Šeškinė polyclinics, as well as, depending on the number of people to be vaccinated, vaccinations will be carried out for educational purposes.

Employees of educational institutions will receive an invitation to vaccinate by means of a short SMS message, which will indicate in which medical institution the vaccination will take place and the time of vaccination.

Educational personnel under the age of 55 will be vaccinated with AstraZeneca, others will be vaccinated with Pfizer & Biontech.

About 30 percent. Employees of educational institutions will not be vaccinated, at least for the moment; For employees who have relapsed with COVID-19 in the last 90 days, with a positive serological antibody test in the last 60 days, vaccination will be postponed to the next stage. This week, Vilnius will receive a total of 5,890 doses of vaccine, of which 2,200 will be AstraZeneca and 3,690 doses of the Pfizer & Biontech vaccine. According to data from the Department of Statistics, 13,817 people were vaccinated once in Vilnius and 8,270 people were vaccinated twice.
