On Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė assured that already on Wednesday the government should approve a decision allowing some service companies to start operating next Monday, reports the LRT news portal.

These businesses include hair salons, nail salons, and other businesses that provide similar services.

The Prime Minister also urges company employees to undergo PCR coronavirus testing and ensure that they return to the workplace in good health.

The Government Emergency Commission (WESC) approved on Monday a strategy developed by the Ministry of Health to emerge from quarantine in stages. The commission also suggested that the government decide on the possibilities for the government to release restrictions on trade and services.

“The quarantine change plan is distinguished by the fact that it provides for the possibility of making exemptions at both the national and municipal levels. The plan itself and its change are related to morbidity rates and positive test results, which must be reviewed weekly, ”Interior Minister Agnė Bilotaitė told reporters on Monday.
