Travelers who have not taken the COVID-19 test are expected to be immediately registered for the COVID-19 test, as well as stricter procedures to verify the traveler questionnaire data, according to a SAM press release.

The National Public Health Center (NVSC) points out that travelers must be prepared for these procedures, have all the necessary documents. This will ensure that the process runs smoothly, quickly and smoothly both for the travelers themselves and for the personnel performing the medical-quarantine control.

NVSC reminds that all travelers must complete the traveler form https://keleiviams.nvsc.lt/lt/form and have a confirmation of the completed electronic form, the so-called QR code. The specialists will verify that the data provided in the questionnaire matches the personal data, so all passengers are encouraged to submit the data responsibly and honestly when completing the questionnaire so as not to waste extra time at the airport or seaport. To avoid problems, it is recommended to complete the electronic form within 24 hours at the latest. before the trip.

Passengers are also required to have documents proving that they have been tested for COVID-19 before arriving in Lithuania (48 hours before arrival). If a person plans to take the test in Lithuania, it is recommended to register in advance for the Corona Hot Line 1808 test. If passengers do not do so, NVSC specialists will register them for mobile coronavirus diagnostic tests at mobile points. It will be verified if the travelers will attend a survey; those who fail to do so may face administrative responsibilities, as such a survey is mandatory.

If the person is ill, please have a certificate from a medical institution at the airport or sea port stating that they have been confirmed COVID-19 disease by laboratory test no earlier than 90 days before returning / arriving in Lithuania. If the person has been vaccinated, documentation proving that it has been carried out according to the full vaccination schedule. Documents must be translated into Lithuanian, English or Russian.
