Cases recorded in outbreaks

On Saturday a new outbreak was registered at the Šilutė Social Services Center. A total of four cases of coronavirus infection were associated with the outbreak.

A new outbreak has also been registered at the Klaipėda construction company: two cases of the COVID-19 disease have been confirmed.

Another new outbreak was recorded at a fish processing plant operating in Tauragė district. Yesterday a coronavirus infection was confirmed in two workers. In total, three cases of infection are associated with the outbreak.

On Saturday, new cases of COVID-19 disease in connection with outbreaks were detected in Klaipėda city kindergartens “Giliukas”, “Pušaitė”, “Pakalnutė”, Panevėžys kindergarten “Vaivorykštė” (Pelėdžiukai group ), the Šiauliai kindergarten in the “Pasaka” kindergarten, the “Kūlverstukas” kindergarten.

Outbreak-related cases were also reported at the Klaipėda ship repair company, Gargždai, Marijampolė construction companies, Kaunas furniture manufacturing company, Panevėžys car repair company, Radviliškis district sewing company, Visaginas furniture manufacturing company, Vilnius electrical installation works company.

In addition, outbreak-related infection cases were confirmed on Saturday at the Alytus Correctional Institution, Telšiai Department of the State Food and Veterinary Service.

Cases related to outbreaks in families were recorded on the last day throughout Lithuania, based on currently available data 94.
