16 people died from the coronavirus infection: 7 women and 9 men.
1,444 people were isolated in the last day, a total of 67,998 people are currently in isolation, including people confirmed with COVID-19, according to the National Center for Public Health (NVSC).
Cases in which the circumstances of the infection of people are not clear, that is, epidemiological studies have established that people did not go abroad, they did not communicate with confirmed cases of COVID-19, 146 are currently registered.
Cases recorded in outbreaks
On Tuesday, a new outbreak was recorded in Vilnius Antakalnis Progymnasium, where three cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the last week.
New outbreaks have also been recorded in three construction companies, consulting and cleaning services companies operating in Vilnius. In addition, on the last day there were new outbreaks, epidemiological evaluations, in a construction company in Klaipėda district (two employees) and in a metal processing company in Kretinga, where two cases for employees and two secondary cases were approved. Epidemiological studies are underway.
In addition, the cases registered on the last day are related to outbreaks in the Klaip ciudadda city kindergartens “Pušaitė”, “Puriena”, “Inkarėlis”, Klaipėda city Medeinė school.
In addition, cases related to the outbreak were reported at the Rusn en special school in Šilutė district on the last day. A total of four cases (workers) are estimated to be related to the outbreak. In turn, taking into account the epidemiological situation and in order to reduce the spread of the infection in preschool educational institutions, on the last day the Klaipėda Department of the NSC prepared a presentation to the Šilutė District Municipal Administration on the introduction of a regimen restricting the spread of infections in Russia’s special school.
On Tuesday, COVID-19 disease cases associated with outbreaks were reported at a construction company in Marijampolė, a meat industry company in Šakiai district, an agricultural company in Marijampolė, a confectionery company in Kaunas, Telšiai and companies building of Utena.
Outbreak-related COVID-19 disease cases were also confirmed on the last day at Legailiai Nursing Home in Biržai District, Utena Social Care Home, Kaunas Detention Center, Telšiai Department of State Service of Food and Veterinary.
In addition, on the last day, specialists from the Vilnius Department of the NVSC took measures to prevent further spread of the chimney in the Vilnius shelters: repeated selective tests of the population were organized. The specialists also worked with the company responsible for the supervision of the city of Vilnius to know the circumstances of the spread of the infection and recommendations were provided to the company. Epidemiological diagnosis continues.
Cases related to outbreaks in families were recorded on the last day throughout Lithuania, based on currently available data.
