And they are already tired of hearing the frequent outrages and unfounded accusations against doctors in public. Zofija Tuskevičienė from Kėdainiai says that dedicated doctors like those who work at Kėdainiai still need to be well sought out.

Tired of being fake

Kėdainiai’s experience with extremely severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with doctors is only the best. And she has a lot of experience here. Doctors are constantly visited not only for their difficult health, but also for the health of their children.

“You know I’m really sick of all the dirt spilled on social media that doctors don’t do anything.

I don’t feel like it’s something very exclusive or special that someone should jump around. I live in a village, I myself have a disability, I raise two disabled children. We work hard, we are ordinary people, but I always receive the most sincere help and attention from supervising doctors, ”says Kėdainė.

Taken during lunch break

The woman says she felt excellent medical care and concern throughout the quarantine period. She also visits the outpatient clinic for her daughter, who needs medicine every three months. He also visited for a son who had unexpected health problems. The problem is that due to her health and well-being, a woman cannot visit a doctor as often as she needs.

He doesn’t have a car, buses are very rare, and children have no one to go out to.

“I always have, throughout this entire period, since spring, as much as I had to check in with the doctors, I always called. I don’t understand how other people are so unlucky to call the reception.

The situation was such that the son suddenly swelled his jaw with great force, although there was no pain. I called, told him what the situation was, they told us to go right away. The dentist Ina Gargasienė met us and inspected us during her lunch break. The son needed two surgeries.

She sacrificed her free time to accept us for help, ”says the woman.

Call three times a day

The woman herself faces constant health problems due to her chronic illness. She says she suffers from pneumonia every year, often struggling with a strong cough and shortness of breath. Milda Krištaponienė, a pulmonologist, calls her on the first days of every month and asks her about the woman’s condition.

More recently, Zofija says that her health has deteriorated and wrote to her GP, Gintara Paškevičienė. As soon as the message was received, the doctor called the woman and asked her to come in for tests as soon as possible.

“The doctor called me in the same minute to listen to my breathing, what a cough. He demanded to come immediately, but I have no chance, I cannot. I have no way, I have nowhere to leave the children, I cannot leave them alone. My GP called a treating pulmonologist, discussed a treatment plan, and prescribed medication. I drink them, my health improves a little.

My GP calls me three times a day. Asking how I feel When I get up in the morning, I find your message on the phone, and before going to bed I get a message: I have to tell you how I feel, what temperature, to say everything.

Is that what you’re telling me, aren’t the doctors working? She sacrifices her time, the time she can dedicate to rest, family, home, she dedicates to the patients ”, laments Zofija, adding that she is very grateful to the doctors.

After thanking strangers attack

Zofia says she can no longer read the gossip spread on social media. She says she has never seen a landline phone at the front desk or encountered a negligent attitude, and there aren’t one or two in the outpatient clinic. Where do these stories of empty hospitals come from?

“I don’t need Kaunas either, I am completely satisfied with the medical care here in Kėdainiai,” says the woman.

She says therapy and telephone counseling are also suitable for her. Sure, she should come for tests, but so far the woman says she can’t do it in any way, so doctors are giving her the treatment as much as possible in a situation like this.

But the woman is very saddened by the anger of the compatriots. Zofia says that she keeps writing a word of thanks in public, but right here she is “eaten” by omniscient people who say that doctors do nothing.

“It is angry to read when a garbage can starts. It’s scary just reading what they write. Not working, drinking coffee. I don’t think they have time for that coffee. And even if they drink, they also have the right and the need to eat and drink. The quality of the treatment will not deteriorate from the consumption of coffee.

People are so angry. I try to write something nice – I attack right away, they accuse me of having given a bribe, that’s why I take care of it ”, consoles Zofija and adds that she has not bribed anyone in her life.

“I still think that I would like to take the flowers to the doctors, although I would like to thank them for that. I have nothing I do not have Of disability benefits, what other bribes could I give? But I want to thank them, the doctors take great care of themselves, they try a lot, they work a lot, ”said the grateful woman from Kėdainiai.
