Participant in four Olympic Games dies in car accident Sports

The winner of the World Championship was killed in a car accident on Saturday night.

“We suffered an unimaginable loss during an accident in which Nikolai Chebotko, a renowned ski champion in Kazakhstan, lost his life. On behalf of the sports community, we extend our condolences to Nicholas’s family and friends. We will break up with you, ”the Kazakh ski team writes on Instagram.

The 38-year-old athlete had been fishing since the weekend when he ran off the road and hit a tree.

N. Chebotko has been competing in ski competitions since 2001.

In 2013, he won a bronze medal in the world sprint team relay relay.

He participated in up to four Winter Olympics and performed best in 2010 in Vancouver, finishing fifth.

His death in mourning leaves his wife and two children.
