Recently, foreign news portals reported that the legend had been battling Covid-19 for some time and was being treated at Cedars Sinai Medical Center Hospital in Los Angeles.

An official message posted on King’s Twitter account says he died at the same medical facility.

“With great sadness, Ora Media reports the death of one of our founders, leaders and friends, Larry King, who left this morning for the 87-year-old Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” the report says.

“Over 63 years, thousands of Larry interviews, awards and global accolades across all radio, television and digital media platforms bear witness to his long-standing and unique journalistic talents,” the entry added.

It is added that King always looked to his interlocutors as true interview stars, and himself only as an impartial channel between the guest and the audience.

“Whether he interviewed the president of the United States, foreign leaders, celebrities, scandals, or anyone else, Larry liked to ask short, direct, and simple questions,” the report continues.

“He believed that concise and simple questions provided the best answers, and he was right in that belief,” he added in a Twitter post.
