Her mother, Alvyda, shared the story of the illness of Kristina living in the Telšiai district with the news portal tv3.lt.
PHOTO GALLERY. Kristina, 39, found out about cancer while pregnant
It all started in the summer of 2017. Kristina was expecting her third child when a painful lump appeared on her breast. As a result, she immediately sought medical attention, underwent a biopsy, and on June 6, the woman received a call during which a doctor at the other end of the cord reported that Kristina had cancer.
The woman was immediately sent to the Kaunas clinics for examination by an oncologist, who recommended surgery. A few days ago it was performed in clinics in Kaunas.
“After the operation, a medical council was convened, during which chemotherapy was recommended, with the possibility of postponing the postpartum. There was no other treatment, only Kristina herself drank natural vitamins C and minerals: magnesium and selenium. He started eating healthier, stopped adding sugar, white flour, meat, ”says Kristina’s mother, Alvyda.
Since Kristina later fed the baby, she tried alternative treatments: she visited the well-known phytotherapy doctor Juozas Ruolis in Vilnius, drank the herbs indicated by him and various natural supplements recommended by him. He attended yoga classes, ran. Blood tests and breast ultrasound were performed regularly. The research was good.
A second hit appeared
Although the disease seemed to be subsiding, almost a year later, in May 2018, a small lump appeared on Kristina’s hand, a little further from her armpit. He immediately reapplied to the Klaipeda University Hospital.
“The oncologist-surgeon operated on him, only the place hurt, and Kristina returned home the same day. After laboratory tests, it was reported that there were malignant cells, ”says Alvyda.
This time, Kristina decided to go for the traditional chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormonal treatment, where hormones are injected once a month and harmonic preparations are used daily. He also completely rejected any alternative medical care.
“Kristina was heroic anyway, she drove for all the procedures herself. After the second or third chemotherapy, her blood count deteriorated and she had to take some medication, which made her feel very unwell, weak, and had difficulty walking. for a few days.
I was the only one before this treatment, and especially hormone therapy, so it was hard for me to accept it, but as an adult … I kept the baby during Kristina’s treatment. And now there is such an exciting picture in sight.
The little boy was very attached to his mother, so he woke up with his mother. He escorted everyone to the hospital, his father to work, his sister to one school, his brother to another, they all left at different times, the little boy stayed with his head on the glass for a long time, he did not cry, just very sad.
He still had a year or two to go. I took it, placed it by the window, and thus placed my head on the windowsill, the sad continued to roar for about half an hour. I reconciled and was strong enough. The world still didn’t look beautiful, “says Kristina’s mother, Alvyda.
Kristina endured radiation therapy quite well and after irradiation she even went to dance rehearsals and began dancing in the contemporary dance women’s ensemble at the Nevarėnai Cultural Center.
In 2019, it seemed that the treatment was successful: the woman was feeling fine, and after parental leave was over, she returned to work.
The doctor predicted nothing
“In the spring of 2020, I already started to hate Kristina. She seemed tired. On weekends my right leg started to hurt, the temperature rose. Research started. I don’t know what this study is called, but it cannot be with people for 2 days after that. Then he settled in my sister’s empty apartment. They didn’t tell me anything, I didn’t know anything …
It was 2020. On August 18, when Kristina called me and asked, “Am I home alone?” Anxiety was overwhelming me because something was wrong here … It was brought to me by a co-worker directly from work, even though the work time had not expired. “Something is already wrong,” I said. “Metastasis in the liver. Mom, what are we doing? Of course, the ground slipped on me, I wanted to die at that moment … We made the decision to do something ”, Alvyda remembers that moment.
Kristina went to see her doctor first at Klaipeda University Hospital, but the doctor could only confirm that the cancer had returned and that it had covered the liver. Also, there are vague shunts in his bones. The doctor suggested using chemistry, lots of chemistry and supportive chemistry, even though Kristina had not yet completed her second prescribed hormonal treatment.
“The doctor said: ‘We gave her the wrong treatment because the origin of the breast cancer was incorrectly determined. We haven’t had that hardware yet, and now her cancer has been found to be genetic. “She didn’t predict anything,” Alvyda says.
This time, however, Kristina escaped the treatment suggested by the doctor.
“First I went to the Jurmala Hunger Clinic, to detoxify the body (the doctor agreed), and the chemistry was always delayed, I was afraid. There were exams, a visit to the doctor. The research was anyway for me. After returning from Latvia, he found the Kaunas Center for Natural Medicine online and checked in with the doctor, hematopath Aiva Vaivarienė, to receive vitamin C injections.
She wrote her diet: she only eats vegetables, some grains, nuts, occasionally fish from her pond, and some chicken breast. Vegetables only from your garden without fertilizers, sprays and forest grasses, mushrooms, berries. It uses hemp oil, mistletoe release, and many strong and expensive supplements. I went to a spiritual training camp in early October. He regained his energy, flourished for life, and the research results were excellent. The situation in the liver remained unchanged.
Dr. Aiva V. recommended that she go to Hannover, Germany, to receive treatment for hyperthermia from the first meeting. Postponed because it requires 20,000 euros. We didn’t get the necessary treatment, “says Kristina’s mother.
I can not wait more
However, in late November and early December, Kristina began to feel ill and the pain in her leg returned. Along with that, the depression began: the woman became irritable and indifferent to everything. New research has shown that the number of cancer cells in the body has increased significantly.
“After changing medications, she felt refreshed and pain free again during the main holidays of the year. After the New Year, on or around January 4, leg pain, leg swelling, fluid build-up in the liver and peritoneum, GI tract pain, and weakness started again. Cancer marker readings have risen sharply since the last research this week. Dr. Aiva V. told me to go to Germany as soon as possible, we can’t wait any longer, “says Alvyda sensitively.
The woman says that although Kristina’s husband is trying to keep up, but she had seen him cry, her oldest daughter hangs out not only in class but also with chores around the house.
“Boy, he’s a happy boy, he still doesn’t understand anything … Now he’s more fascinated by snow. This is what I am waiting for when I come with him to entertain nature, because there is more than anyone … Each one has to do their own responsibilities and those of their family.
Today, both Kristina and I and my sisters cry for the kindness of the people and we do not even focus on thanking ourselves for how to discover those words and how to thank them all. My account already has about 1700 euros, Kristina – 5000 euros. What worries me the most, I found 2.48 euros and 3 euros in my account, probably the man gave everything he had to an unknown woman, although he could have bought something for him. The kindness of the people is exciting, “says Alvyda.
