712 deaths from COVID-19 occurred in the age group 70-79 years, and 435 died at the age 60-69 years.
The coronavirus also claimed 245 lives in people between the ages of 90 and 99, 216 people died between the ages of 50 and 59, and 5 people were over 100 years old.
There have been 29 deaths from COVID-19 infection in the last day. 8 also died of coronavirus, but for other reasons.
The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Lithuania is 2591.
