McGregor spread the word at the end of UFC 250 and distracted Amanda Nunes, the two-category champion, who claimed her eleventh consecutive victory.
“Hello friends. I decided to go and stop fighting, thank you all for the wonderful memories. It was a great trip,” wrote the Irishman, who shared a photo with his mother.
The 31-year-old athlete announced the end of his career for the third time. Before that, he had decided to leave in 2016, as well as in March of last year. Both times the Irishman returned.
Hi guys Wantve decided to withdraw from the fight.
Thank you all for the amazing memories! What a ride it has been!
Here’s a picture of me and my mom in Las Vegas posting one of my world titles!

In January of this year, McGregor crushed Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in 40 seconds and said he wanted to fight three more times in 2020, but such plans were thwarted by the coronavirus pandemic.
McGregor made no secret of the desire to exact revenge on Chabib Nurmagomedov, but the Russian’s focus is now on Justin Gaethje, who defeated Tony Ferguson and became interim world champion.
During his career, C. McGregor had 22 wins and 4 losses, against Artyom Sitenkov, Joseph Duffy, Nate Diaz and Ch. Nurmagomedova.
Two more stars, Jorge Masvidal and John Jones, have recently spoken about wanting to leave the UFC for poor pay. Admittedly, fans have no doubt that both they and the Irish will fight in the cage again.
