Pre-crisis wages

The ministry promises from 2021 to 2024. to increase the monthly minimum wage (MMA). As you know, the MMA has reached 642 euros since this year. The ministry does not specify how much this size could grow in the coming years.

The government headed by Ingrida Šimonytė and its program were approved by the Seimas on December 11 last year.

According to the law, within 3 months from that date, the Government must approve the plan for the implementation of the provisions of the program. Therefore, it must be approved no later than March 11.

According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, the consultation on the Government Program execution plan will be organized by the Government Chancellery after receiving proposals from all the ministries and preparing the initial version of the Government Program Action Plan. The ministry expects the full plan of measures for the government program to be made public in February.
