According to Vygantas Sudaris, director of the Pakruojis Hospital, told tv3.lt, the doctor has been treated for resuscitation in Šiauliai for 3 weeks.

“After graduating from the Kaunas Medical Institute, Juozas Vyšniauskas came to the Pakruojis district in 1966. And he stayed. The Vilkaviškis doctor connected his entire working career with our district. And it lasted 54 years.

We lost a doctor and a great man. He was a representative of the older generation of doctors, who worked by vocation, devoted to his chosen profession with all his heart. Juozas Vyšniauskas was not only a good doctor, respected and loved by patients and colleagues, but also a great guide. From 1969 to 1976 he ran the Linkuva I District Hospital. Until 1986 “Pakruojis District Central Hospital”, – the hospital community replied about the doctor.

The professionalism of the doctor was repeatedly evaluated not only by the director of the hospital, but also by the mayor of the Ministry of Health and the Pakruojis district municipality. 2011 Juozas Vyšniauskas received a token of appreciation from the Pakruojis district municipality for their long-term care for the health of the district people.

“I worked a lot, not counting the hours of work, without taking care of my health. He loved and respected his co-workers, knew how to comfort and advise in times of trouble. It has always been there ”, this is how the companions describe the deceased.
