“Already this Sunday, the booster vaccination with the COVID-19 vaccine will begin in the Kaunas clinics and will continue accordingly for those employees who have already passed three weeks after the first vaccine,” the Kaunas clinics say on Facebook.
According to the clinics, workers who were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection after the first vaccine will not be vaccinated now.
“They have a booster dose and it will be delayed 90 days after detection of COVID-19 infection,” the clinics say.
According to the doctors, 7 workers were infected after the first vaccination.
The priority groups for vaccination of the population are approved by the Minister of Health through his order. First on the list are doctors, volunteers involved in the management of a pandemic hospital, staff from fever clinics and mobile points, patients and nursing home staff.
In the second and third quarters of this year it is planned to vaccinate specialists from preschool, preschool, primary and special education institutions. This list can be adjusted depending on the circumstances.
