On January 14, at approximately 5:10 pm, in a shop in Vilnius, Sodų str. The health center warned of the COVID-19 virus, ignored warnings and requirements, visited a supermarket, endangering other people with a dangerous infectious disease.
On the same day, a pre-trial investigation was launched at the Vilnius City Third Police Station for violations of regulations to combat epidemics or communicable diseases.
According to the Vilnius County Police report, the suspect pleaded guilty and was detained for 90 days. In accordance with article 641 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the sentence imposed was reduced by one third and the final sentence was 60 days’ detention.
