This is demonstrated by the statistics received by the BNS news agency from the Lithuanian media research and monitoring company Mediaskopas.
The government headed by Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė was sworn in on December 11.
From that day until Thursday, Minister A. Dulkys was mentioned in the media in more than 5,000 reports.
The Minister of the Interior, Agnė Bilotaitė, who came in second place, received three times less attention.
Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, Economy Minister Aušrinė Armonaitė and Environment Minister Simonas Gentvilas also entered the top five.
So far, Energy Minister Dainius Kreivys, Agriculture Minister Kęstutis Navickas and Culture Minister Simonas Kairys have received the least media attention.
Only the ministers were evaluated during the investigation, the prime minister was not included.
Vilūnė Kairienė, Head of Data Analysis and Solutions at Mediaskop, told BNS that the coronavirus issue was completely dominant in the media during this period, so there were ministers directly involved in managing the pandemic under scrutiny.
During the investigation, 850 Lithuanian media sources were analyzed: national and regional press, reports from news agencies and the Internet, radio and television news and journalistic programs.
