According to the Klaipėda District Municipality, 26 members of the Council participated in the meeting. The appointment was by secret ballot. 26 Council members expressed their votes. According to the scrutiny commission, 19 voted in favor of the candidacy and 7 against.
The newly elected Deputy Director of Administration R. Petrauskienė will begin work on Friday, January 15th.
R. Petrauskienė graduated from Klaipėda University and has a master’s degree in organization of recreational activities. From 2015 to May 2019, he was a member of the Klaipėda District Municipal Council. He worked actively in the Culture, Education and Sports Committee, the Youth Affairs Council, the Drug Control Commission, the Council of Heads of Health Institutions and the Supervisory Council of these institutions, and was a member of the Council of the Commission for Strategic Planning and Gargždai Banga Football Club.
From June to September 2019, she worked as deputy director of the Klaipėda district municipality administration. He was elected a member of the Seimas.
