“I would like to be glad that despite the difficult years in the past, the Lithuanian tourism community has prepared a lot of news and creative projects to interest even the most experienced traveler. We have received news about new pedestrian and bicycle trails, museums renovated, important historical objects restored, unusual travel routes actively planned to open in spring and summer, ”says Snieguolė Valiaugaitė, Content Project Manager at Keliauk Lietuva.

1. Industrial tourism experiences in Panevėžys

You say you have really seen everything in Lithuania? This year, the city of Panevėžys is ready to present its new product, industrial tourism, which has already received much attention and praise, even more actively. Travelers thirsty for unexpected experiences will be able to learn about the city’s history and heritage by visiting flax, soap, glass, canning or sugar factories, a meat factory, or a windmill that once ground grain.
