The opposition is concerned that the government, together with the Ministry of Health, is failing to establish a transparent list of vaccinated priorities, with people with diverse personal ties to the lists, ignoring those at risk or at the forefront. of COVID. 19.

“Reports in the media have become commonplace that COVID-19 vaccines are received in various parts of the country by relatives of high-ranking politicians or medical executives who are vaccinated ignoring the order and simply pushing the margins. in care, seriously ill patients waiting for a dose of the vaccine. For many of them it is vital, “says Aušrinė Norkienė, the senior of the LVŽS faction in the Seimas.

She emphasizes that the greatest damage to a state’s democracy is caused by the distribution of people, which is tolerated by senior state officials and encouraged by representatives of the ruling parties. However, according to politicians, in this case the damage to the Nation and the State is even greater because it affects people’s lives.

According to the largest of the faction, the facts revealed by the media confirm that Minister A. Dulkys is incapable of ensuring a fluid order, he only lives with noisy statements about transparency in the world, thus taking care only of public relations and not the actual work.

“We will not be able to remove the responsibility and blame the previous government this time. The Minister must take responsibility for himself. He feared them by letting every sixth dose of the vaccine be thrown away, and they are still afraid to hide behind the backs of the groups of work and explain that research is going to be carried out. We not only need research, we need decisions to be made, we all need to know what will change in the regulation of vaccination so that such situations do not happen again. The fourth shipment of vaccines has already reached Lithuania, but we still don’t know how vaccines will be distributed, especially when risk groups run out, or if they will actually reach the people they need to reach first. How can you trust a minister who has announced that he will have a 130-point plan to combat a pandemic, but has no one seen that plan? I dare to think that there simply is no such plan, “says A. Norkienė.

According to her, the opposition group has many questions for the minister, because the public does not see any signs of readiness for the COVID-19 vaccination, it becomes completely confused how universal vaccination will be carried out when the entire population is vaccinated. , not just risk groups.

A joint meeting of the opposition factions will take place in the Constitution Hall of the Seimas, to which the Minister of Health A. Dulkys is invited.
