“In terms of medicine, the largest construction will be in the operational unit of the Antakalnis Hospital. This hospital is very old, it has been built by many Lithuanian doctors. After the expansion, the old block will be able to adapt for other uses after minor repairs. However, it has been standing without repairs for 50 years, with only cosmetic corrections, and the flow of operations is uninterrupted: around 10,000 of them are carried out per year. Therefore, it is necessary to build a new building where these services will be concentrated. We will definitely expand these services in Vilnius, because they are lacking, the availability is not enough, ”says P. Poderskis.

“A tender has been announced for the contractor on the left side, from the A. Goštautas bridge to the Šilo bridge. It is an incredibly long stretch and although there will not be many solutions, there will be more landings, terraces, places for business, and they will be enabled lanes for pedestrians and bicycles, ”he says.

The municipality also plans to install a warehouse in front of the Palacio de Deportes: design, obtain the building license and sell it for business development.

“We will see if it will be a café, boat rental. We would like the works on the left side to start this year, at least from the A. Goštautas Bridge to the White Bridge,” says the director of administration.
