The Lithuanian judo community was shaken by a painful loss. The life of the country’s famous judo judge, Sigismund Rybin, suddenly ended. Sigismund welcomed their 30th anniversary just before the New Year. Although he was given very little dirt road, the man who has recently battled the disease has left a deep mark not only in the heart of the sporting community,

As it is written, the man was well known not only for his abilities as a judge. He has also achieved important victories in various championships:

“He came to judo training as a child in 1996 and has always stayed true to his sport. He achieved sports victories not only on the tatami. In 2016, Sigismund passed the international category judge exams in Italy and worked in tournaments organized by EJU. 2018 established the Lithuanian Judo Judges Association and became the chairman of the LDF panel of judges. Last year, he received the title of 3 DAN for his merits in judo, and the name of Ž. Rybinas was mentioned among the 80 best EJU judges ”.
