When asked if he would present his final decision on the LVŽS conduct in the upcoming Seimas elections today, the Prime Minister replied in the affirmative.
“It just came to our attention then. There is nothing to reveal here, if I did come, it will probably be that I will participate in the elections,” he said.
He said that doesn’t really mean he’ll be leading the list yet.
“There is no discussion yet, the list will be ranked,” said S. Skvernelis.
S. Skvernelis’s final decision was expected today by LVŽS leader R. Karbauskis.
“The list will not yet be fully approved, only a part of the single-member constituencies. Our decisions on cooperation with partners will be approved,” R. Karbauskis promised before the Council meeting.
“I think the prime minister will say what he means,” Karbauskis said of the prime minister’s possible decision.
The LV®S leader revealed who will face a single-member rally against the President of Seimas Viktoras Pranckietis.
“Yes, yes, Laima Moginienė, a former Seimas member, I hope he wins,” said the LVŽS leader.
Širinskienė does not say
LVNS representative Agnė Širinskienė declined to reveal to the media whether or not she will participate in the elections, if she has already decided.
“When the party publishes all the information, they will see. It takes some patience,” laughed the MP.
The LVŽS representative did not want to reveal whether she wanted it herself.
“I understand my responsibility, I understand the work that has been done, of course, the need for its continuity. I think in this light you will have my answer, “he said.
Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga also did not speak before the LVŽS Council meeting.
“The Kaunas branch decided that it would be Kaunas, the sole member of Panemunė, where I also ran and won in the last election,” he said.
The politician said he did not make any wishes about the place on the list. The Minister declined to comment on his increased grades due to the quarantine fight.
“What does it mean to be satisfied? You can’t sort things like infections and quarantines. “It’s just that kind of job,” he said.
The Seimas elections will be held on October 11.
