V. Uspaskich has been creating live broadcasts on his Facebook account for some time. During them, the politician discusses issues relevant to him. It was during one of those broadcasts that Uspaskich introduced the structured water that caused a stir in society.

A new recording by V. Uspaskich appeared on Sunday, in which the politician also addressed the issue of the LGBT community.

“Today, in some European countries, it is dangerous to say that you are a representative of the natural orientation, it has already become dangerous. I don’t want my conversations, the show, to be commented on by “pedic” of any kind. Because it’s not a show for them anyway. I’m talking about ‘pedicures’, you perverts.

For those who gave such a destiny, life, it is not their fault that it is a wish that he feels like a woman dressed as a man. Most of these people don’t advertise, but those who put their penis under their skirts, go out into the streets, scream, they are “pediatricians”, perverts. Such things really should not be tolerated, “said V. Uspaskich in the video.

Uspaskich publicized the mineral water extracted by his children's company?

Raskevičius, who presents himself as a professional gay man, also spoke

Video clip and short comment on your own Facebook A member of the Seimas, who presents himself as a professional homosexual, shared the page with Tomas Vytautas Raskevičius.

“I don’t want you to comment on my conversations Pediatricians everyone!

Structured water is replaced by disgusting homophobia, but I only have one question: is it okay when a member of the European Parliament publicly spreads homophobic hate speech? ”TV Raskevičius wrote on his page.

After contacting Mr. Uspaskich, we did not receive any comment on why, in some parts of Europe, he said that it was dangerous to be a heterosexual person. The MEP did not agree to share his experience.

However, tv3.lt V. Uspaskich clarified what he called perverts in his video. They are supposedly people who take to the streets and ask for additional conditions.

“Those who pervert the streets, I don’t support them. Those who were born with such a situation, with such a destiny, who are dressed as a man and attracted to being a woman, I said, are that destiny. Without a doubt, it would be worthwhile to be protected by the law so as not to discriminate against them.

But those who engage in perverted things go to the streets, they still demand additional conditions, of course, I am against it “, comments V. Uspaskich.

Tomas Vytautas Raskevičius

Speeches can cost lives

After contacting MP TV Raskevičius, he did not hide his comments on the latest comments from V. Uspaskich.

“I am very disappointed by such comments from the esteemed Viktor Uspaskich. He is not just an individual, he is a state politician, a Member of the European Parliament who, ironically, also belongs to the ALDE group, that is to say, to the liberals.

I have no idea how such rhetoric, which absolutely denies human rights discourse and disparages members of the LGBT community living in Lithuania, can be reconciled with such political dependence on the respected Victor, ”says TV Raskevičius.

Seimas member V. Uspaskich calls it homophobic rhetoric and says it is intertwined with liars. TV Raskevičius wants the MEP to say goodbye.

TV Raskevičius is of the opinion that politicians are a kind of opinion formers, their speeches in society are widely heard, but when it comes to the LGBT community, rhetoric must be monitored. Irresponsible words can cost lives.

“Homophobia is a problem in Lithuania, it affects various age groups, including young people. In fact, when we talk about emotional health, when we talk about youth suicides, there are many victims of homophobia in those sad statistics and those public statements of politicians really cost LGBT people their lives, ”says TV Raskevičius.

Rasa Juknevičienė

Juknevičienė: these are propaganda narratives

Ms Uspaskich’s statements are also not clear to MEPs. According to Rasa Juknevičienė, MEP, representative of the Lithuanian Christian National-Democratic Union (TS-LKD), V. Uspaskich’s rhetoric is reminiscent of Kremlin propaganda.

“From what I see now, it seems crazy to me. Especially when it came to water distribution or just a business plan. Now I can see that he is also taking on other narratives.

For me, it coincides a lot with the narratives that are spread in our countries in general, especially from the Kremlin itself, ”says R. Juknevičienė from tv3.lt.

The MEP says that entering Russian-controlled sources of information could lead to arguments very similar to those of Uspaskich.

According to R. Juknevičienė, the LGBT community is also one of the targets of the Kremlin’s propaganda. Homophobic statements are being used to discredit the European Union.

“The old Kremlin ax is aimed at all of Europe. This community is taken as a tool to lead people against the European Union. This is completely out of line with his political group that he works for in the European Parliament. This political group is very tolerant, ”says R. Juknevičienė.

Meeting with Petras Auštrevičius

Auštrevičius: Victor lost the opportunity to shut up

The liberal Petras Auštrevičius works with V. Uspaskich in the same faction in the European Parliament of Renew Europe. Nor does he understand what his colleagues say.

“I think Victor missed the opportunity to keep quiet. He had a chance not to sink into the swamp of such radical populism, but he seemed to slither through the streets and did not escape this thing. It’s difficult to comment on things like that.

Such an impression that sitting in the kitchen at the kitchen table is an attempt to discuss the higher materials, almost the space, but, I would say, a very low level of language with insults, with translations and, I would say, inappropriate use of words “, comments tv3.lt P. Auštrevičius.

The MEP said his colleagues did not support the speeches and deplored them.

“I am very sorry for my colleague’s speeches, those things are unacceptable to me. As I mentioned, the impression is that from the magic water to the different look, the different thinking, I don’t know what the third series will be. It seems that Viktor got caught in the turn of populism, “says P. Auštrevičius.

V. Uspaskich worked in the European Parliament from 2009 to 2012. and from 2014 until now.
