Cases recorded in outbreaks
On Monday, outbreak-related infection cases were recorded at the Didvyžiai care home located in Vilkaviškis district (75 cases in total), Skuodas nursing home (37 cases in total), Macikai social residence in Vilkaviškis district Šilutė (53 cases in total), Vilkaviškis Primary Health Care Center (15 cases in total).
Cases of coronavirus infection related to outbreaks were also recorded yesterday at a construction company operating in Alytus, with a total of more than 30 cases of COVID-19 illness in December. There were also cases, according to epidemiologists, related to the outbreak at a sewing company operating in Alytus, where more than 20 related cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in December.
Last day there were also cases of coronavirus infection in connection with outbreaks in a food industry company in Kalvarija, which is associated with a total of 16 cases, and in a sewing company in Vilkaviškis, which is already associated with almost 50 cases of the COVID-19 disease.
In addition, cases of coronavirus infection related to outbreaks have been recorded in the metal processing company operating in Gargždai, furniture manufacturing, railway companies operating in Klaipėda, transportation, food industry companies operating in Šiauliai, the milk processing, packaging and food industry companies operating in Telšiai.
Cases of infection have been recorded in Vilnius, associated with outbreaks in freight forwarding, auto logistics trade, food industry companies, as well as in the metal processing company Ukmergė.
COVID-19 cases were also recorded, according to the evaluation of epidemiologists, related to outbreaks in the Šiauliai kindergarten “Kiškių miškas”, the Vilnius kindergarten “Coliukė”, the Šiauliai fire and rescue board, the Sodra Vilnius branch, as well as the Pravieniškė correctional facility, where a total of 120 cases of infection.
According to currently available data, 97 cases related to outbreaks in families were registered in Lithuania on the last day.
