The municipality indicates that the main use of the building – for treatment, but there is a possibility to switch to the rest.
The building for sale also includes 1.44 hectares of land and is rented. The winner of the auction will enter into a contract with the National Land Service.
According to the mayor of Druskininkai, the environment surrounding the building for sale will soon be fixed.
“The carefully arranged and maintained K.Dineika Health Park is a favorite of resort guests. And this year, the last stage of park management comes to an end, so the future investor will not have to worry about landscaping. This is a truly extraordinary place and an extraordinary opportunity to acquire this object, ”said R. Malinauskas.
The auction, as announced by the municipality, will take place from January 18 to 21.
K. Dineika Park is included in the register of cultural values and is protected by the state.
The beginnings of this park, according to the Department of Culture, date back to the 19th century.
In 1925, Eugenija Levicka, one of the first promoters of sports medicine in interwar Poland, founded a sunbathing park here, and in 1952, a therapeutic physical culture park was established here.
From its foundation until 1978, it was headed by Karolis Dineika, educator, specialist in therapeutic physical education and public figure.
