According to I. Račevska, after evaluating all the infrastructure and development possibilities and the small supply of newly built housing in the Šeškinė district, the company invested 1.25 million. Construction of a new five-story apartment building in the area began in June. The project consists of 25 apartments with one, two or three bedrooms (from 35 to 62 m2).

“Most of the people who bought apartments live or grow up in the area and love it: They have easy access to work, children attend kindergartens and schools here, and older parents are nearby,” says Elina Mesengiser-Garber, director of RED M, a development company.

Real estate developers focused on the old town, Užupis, Šnipiškės, Naujamiestis, Markučiai, Lazdynėlis, Pilaitė, Pašilaičiai, Žirmūnai, Baltupiai – more than 10,500 new apartments were offered here in three years, representing 75%. all new apartment offers in Vilnius. Other old sleeping areas, Karoliniškės, Viršuliškės, Fabijoniškės and Šeškinė, have received significantly fewer new projects for various reasons so far, but growth is already visible in these areas as well.

“The active interest of buyers in new apartments in Šeškinė showed that this sleeping area is important for Vilnius residents. People are looking for a quality home, modern and cozy, familiar, their own. We seek to meet these expectations and also maintain a friendly price ”, says I. Račevska.

The developer also points out that due to the limited number of plots in the area, with a small supply of new construction homes, these apartments will continue to be attractive in the secondary market. “In the next 3-5 years, the development of the planned infrastructure in Šeškinė will increase the liquidity of housing; the value of apartments will only grow due to the implementation of new strategic objects, such as the construction of a national stadium or the construction from Šiaurinės street “, adds I. Račevska.
