In Vilnius, 152 people died from coronavirus and another 89 from other diseases. Currently, 13,704 people are sick in the capital and 12,271 have recovered. The total number of confirmed cases of infection in Vilnius is 26,221.

A total of 14,377 cases of the disease have been confirmed in Kaunas. In this city, 7,578 inhabitants of Kaunas infected by coronavirus have already recovered and 6,579 are still sick. Last day 302 new cases of the disease were detected (their number increased by 12.98% during the week). Currently, 1,237.9 new cases of COVID-19 have been counted for every 100,000 inhabitants of the city of Kaunas in the last 14 days.

According to this indicator, the city of Kaunas is ranked 27 in the list of municipalities with the highest incidence of coronavirus infection in the country (according to data from Monday, ELTA recalls, it was 31). Kaunas District – 37th (1139.8 cases).

Unfortunately, Panevėžys remains one of the three municipalities in the country with the highest morbidity rates. According to the latest data provided by the National Center for Public Health, there are only 13 municipalities in Lithuania where this latest morbidity rate is less than 1,000 cases. 100,000 population.
