“This poster will apply to state-funded and non-state-funded sites,” says E. Valatka, president of LURK, president of Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).

After the LURK meeting on Friday, it was announced that the exemption would apply at Klaipeda University (KU) when entering a place not funded by the state of marine engineering: here the minimum entry score had to reach 5.0 poster .

“However, yesterday the KU Senate made a new decision and it was decided that the minimum entry score for all programs will be the same as in other state universities: 5.4 points,” says E. Valatka.

The final decision was also made by the Senate of the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU). June 1, it was confirmed that the university would also apply a common entrance score poster established by all state universities.

“Furthermore, it was decided that in order to ensure fair competition between universities and harmonize threshold requirements, the calculation of the value of this year’s minimum competitive score will not take into account the additional points established by individual universities,” says the LURK president. .

According to him, in the past, when calculating the value of the entrance score, the individual universities established additional criteria by which additional points were awarded, but this year is no longer the case.

“Undoubtedly, as before, the winners of the Lithuanian and International Business Olympics, competitions and other major events, the list of which is provided in the LAMA BPO” Description of Procedure to Create a Competition Queue “, will receive additional points,” says E. Valatka.
