“Additional beds in rehabilitation hospitals: We have several cases where people no longer need oxygen therapy, but care for the health and safety of people has not yet been provided,” the minister said at a news conference on Saturday.

According to him, the transfer of patients in stable condition to rehabilitation facilities will provide up to 900 beds for COVID-19 patients.

On Friday, A. Dulkys signed an order stipulating that after active treatment in inpatient health care institutions, a person can be transferred to a rehabilitation hospital for additional treatment if they do not need oxygen therapy.

If the person’s condition worsens, they must return to the hospital again.

On Saturday, a total of 2,300 COVID-19 patients were treated in hospitals across the country, 194 of them in resuscitation.
