The journalist recorded how Lithuanians walk in groups on the beach, most of them do not wear masks.

Walking through Second Melnrage, you can see people walking along the seashore with their families: four each, some not only with children, but also with grandmothers and grandfathers or even friends.

“My wife and I wanted to go to Holland’s hat, but the officers didn’t pass us to the checkpoint, so we got to the Second Melnrage. We were surprised to see the image here, a lot of people. Such a feeling that there is no quarantine, ”said Mindaugas Mažonas from Klaipėda.

He soon added: “And what to do at home? Can’t you just sit at the tables and eat? The beautiful weather, the sun is shining and the fresh air from the pine trees on the beach is one of the pleasures ”.

Another young family was interviewed: Marius and Dovilė did not pay attention to the crowd and were only glad that Lithuanians do not gather at tables during the holidays, do not consume alcohol and actively spend their holidays with their families.

“We know the number and dangers of diseases, but if you come by car, not public transport, you are safe, wear a mask and stay away from others, it is not dangerous. After all, we also see many athletes, some walking with Nordic walking poles, others, running along the beach. After all, the chances of getting sick in the countryside are low. If you walk or play sports with your family, we don’t see anything wrong. But of course, sailing with friends already it’s wrong, ”Klaipėda residents said.

Here is the following image on the second day of Christmas between Second Melnrage and Giruliai beach – unused face masks can be seen among walkers:
