Party president Gintautas Paluckas addressed the public with a request to rank the alphabetical list of candidates a week ago. It should be noted that the position expressed by the public G. Paluckas will base his proposals on the positions of the final candidates on the party’s candidate list for the Seimas.
“The participation was huge, I was pleasantly surprised. Obviously, the public cares what lists of candidates the parties present. I am happy that we are moving away from the principle of “choosing among those selected”. This means that openness pays off: public evaluation puts everything in its place, ”says LSDP leader Gintautas Paluckas.

According to the decision of the LSDP council, G. Paluckas was not classified: he will lead the list to the elections. The final list of candidates in the multi-member constituency will be approved by the LSDP Council. The Social Democrats have already approved the majority (51 out of 71) of the Seimas candidates in single-member constituencies.
