The main proposals are to increase the base amount of the official salary from January to 177 euros, as well as to increase the minimum coefficients of the fixed part of the official salary.
If the Seimas passes the amendments, the base amount itself, according to the initiators of the amendments, would increase by 0.6 percent. and depending on the assigned coefficients, it would allow to increase salaries by 200 thousand. employees from 4 to 32 euros. The amendments also propose increasing salary ratios for kindergarten teachers, concert performers and chaperones, increasing salaries by 14 percent on average.
