Former Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis says the quarantine resolution adopted by the government on Sunday was illegal.

There are procedures to change the quarantine conditions to be provided by the Minister of Health, which has not been the case. The government cannot quarantine or change its conditions without providing it, the former prime minister said.

The government tightened its quarantine on Sunday, but on Monday clarified some of its conditions regarding trade, movement restrictions, outdoor business meetings, as well as legal, beauty and lodging services.

At Monday’s meeting, Health Minister Arnas Dulkys made a presentation on the extension of the quarantine. Prime Minister Ingrida admitted to the company that on Sunday the government’s decision was taken without following the procedure according to which said presentation is mandatory.

However, S. Skvernelis acknowledged that the government resolution passed on Monday was more realistic.

I think today’s version is fundamentally different from yesterday’s. I think it’s more real, S. Squernel argued.

According to him, chaotic I. imonyts make government decisions on coronavirus control.

The limitations of such a slight chaos change, you see, there were not n days (…). I don’t think anyone needs chaos, and chaos is big enough in those days, BNS S. Skvernel said Monday.
